INTRODUCTION

Choosing Your Weapon

People want there to be a perfect weapon. This is, however, not the case. It is frequently the case that what works for one person will not work for another. Similarly, there is more to choosing a weapon than just what does the most damage. Finding the right weapon for the right situation can be as simple as answering the question: what weapon is the most appropriate for the situation and what weapon does the operator know how to use? Of course, sometimes it is more complicated than even that. This article will examine a number of ways for people to choose the right weapon, no matter what they think may be the case.

Everything You Probably Need to Know About Handguns

Get close and personal. Handguns fill this role well. In the world of firearms handguns are like a good crescent wrench; it might not be the right tool for the job but it will get it done anyways. Much like swords became smaller so they could be easily carried in a more civilized society, so too has the firearm become smaller. Modern handguns have a decent ammo capacity, are light weight and are small enough to be easily concealed.

Japanese Swords

I've seen a few decent attempts at information of the Katana, but today I'm going over every single bit of information I can possibly cram into this article about the Nipponto or Nihonto, a.k.a. the Japanese sword which includes, but is not limit to the Katana, the Tanto, the Shoto or Wakizashi, and the Daito. For the general public, I will begin on the history of the Japanese Sword.

Martial Arts, The Undead and You: Hand-to-Necrotized Flesh

This is a very bad idea. Zombies transmit their virus by biting or scratching. The last thing you want to do is get close. On the other hand sometimes life puts you in weird situations. What if you're forced to retreat by a crowd of the walking dead and retreat into an empty room? Suddenly you realize that it isn't as empty as you think. There's one lone undead in there with you. He wants your brains, but what he's going to get is your fists. Welcome to a short guide for using martial arts on zombies. This article will cover a broad range of martial arts. I will be discussing them in two categories, with several subcategories in each main one. The first category will cover empty hand martial arts. These are styles of fighting where your only weapons are your body and your wits. The second category will discuss some of the more common weapon based martial arts. The weapons discussed cover a wide range, from swords and knives to staves and throwing stars.
