Resident Evil or Silent Hill - What situation is worse?

An interesting topic came into my head one day. I even asked my friends this. What place/situation would you prefer or hate most to be in? Would you rather be in or hate to be in a city filled with zombies (probably already have my answer there) or stuck fighting for your life in Silent Hill, and what would you do to get out of those situations or just to survive them? I'm mostly curious about what people have to say about the Silent Hill topic most. All my friends say that if they where to be stuck in Silent Hill, the first thing they would do was to commit suicide. Me personaly, I'm gonna take out as many enemies as I can before I chose to take my own life or eaten/skinned alive.

Anywho....

What say you?

yes well Silent Hill is easily worse, its a lot easier to dodge zombies then to outrun hell, Silent Hill can't end well, i've never played the game but going by the movie the church is the only semi safe place and its run by lunatics, suicide sounds good

If I was in Silent Hill, I would stick to the streets. In the game, you are always running around in tiny dark spaces like a creepy hospital, old apartment buildings, subway stations, sewer systems or other obviously dangerous environments.
The streets are probably the safest place to be.

In the games, I believe he mostly hangs around the apartment building. But yes, Pyramid Head is a vicious enemy in the way that he has the huge-ass knife, rips your skin off and rapes the other monsters. I believe I read something a little while ago that Pyramid Head even makes creatures for his "amusement" such as the maniquin enemy in Silent Hill 2 which is basicaly 2 bottom halves of female maniquins stuck together.

Either one doesn't bother me that much. So what if I get killed after bitch slapping pyramid head? Just going to be decapitated by a hunter leaping out of the shadows.

Ross Kemp can suck my sweaty hairy balls.

Resident Evil is FAR worse. Silent Hill is a personal purgatory. Its to atone for your sins. RE has everything mutated. Silent Hill you have a chance to get out of so long as you pay penance or find redemption. RE your only hope for salvation...is a rocket launcher.

Resident evil has an actual chance of happening. Silent hill, Not so much. I grew up playing both video games and Silent Hill always freaked me out a bit more. I think the whole "lost in a town thats not really there with scary things that are trying to kill you" aspect of it scared me. So needless to say, I would say Silent Hill is worse.

Well, I enjoy killing zombies, living in a post-apocalyptic world. I do not enjoy, however, being in hell. From what I could tell by watching the movie, the isolation that entraps its victims in Silent Hill is simply inescapable. Mother and child return "home," an empty house that seems to be a parallel to that of thier actual home, where the father resides, having found no trace of his loved ones.

You lose.
