Ever since I used these babies in the Army, I have loved them. They are tough, rugged, SMEXY, and work great as Motorcycle riding goggles as well. I've had mine for a little over 10 years, and I don't wear anything else.
One of the best features with these glasses is that you can get them in Rx prescriptions. They have a really nice ballistic rating as well. I've seen guys who wore these get hit with IED's in Afghanistan. Almost all of them maintained their orbital and ocular sockets, as well as their eyes. They still weren't pretty, but they kept their sight. That’s a HUGE recommendation to anyone, I'd say. I kept mine even when I left the Army, and they have served me well.
I originally chose these as a replacement to my Ray-bans when they suffered metal fatigue and broke. Tiny particles of the metal got into my eye. I flushed and flushed out my eye, but I couldn't get them out. I had to go the ER, and from there to an ocular surgeon to have the particles removed. The metal had rusted in my eye, and had to be drilled out... Not fun at all. It was two weeks of missed work while my eye healed. When I could finally see well enough again, I switched back to my Wiley X's. I won't go back to metal framed glasses, unless its titanium like I have now for my daily glasses.
If you are looking for a great pair of sunglasses, that will last a lifetime, I'd definitely recommend these. The lenses are super easy to swap out. You can go from clear lenses to the smoke ones in 10 seconds max.
