What makes it more effective on zombies? (I'm a rookie in this forum, howdy)

I think the glow in the dark tips make it more effective... Thats about all I can come up with. Hurray marketing?

Actually, i went down to my local gun store and they are the same as the critical defense, but the zombie max has green glow in he dark tips. However, the price was higher than the critical defense. That's about it.

Welcome BRS - this ammunition - like any product with Zombie (or it's synonyms) added to it just raises the price for no reason. Similar to knives and blades, there are much better items or exact same items for much cheaper without the added Z-Factor.

I think, the fact that if you drop them in the dark you can find them easily is a good bonus however.

Just like anything else marketed to those of us who are Zombie afficianados, just a bit of a fun item with some practical usage.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Yeah, doesn't stop me from buying zombie products either. I was just saying...

It'll be fun killing zombies with products designed specifically, a morale booster too.

I would like to see tests of this ammo against common defense ammo, especially, that which it is modeled after. I wonder if the glow tips give a tracer effect at night?

No, the glow in the dark does nothing except glow in the dark. once you fire it it acts just like the Hornandy Critical Defense round. They are the same thing except the Zombie round glows after being exposed to light. That's the thing, they only glow for a little bit AFTER BEING EXPOSED TO LIGHTS. So if it's been dark for awhile, these things won't help you.

Dedicated Zombie ammo, dedicated zombie edged weapons. What's next?

Try these!

Ya know, sometimes I wish I was living in the US.... Maybe Alaska...

Alaska sounds pretty good for the most time, if you can put up with your pencil freezing and falling off.

Nevada is the Free world. We have REALLY lax firearms laws, as well as open carry. With a 200 dollar tax stamp you can have fully automatic weapons and silencers. Other states have the same laws but not as much open land, tons of which is for sale. Montana is similar. Less mountains though.

I've always Liked Montana too. I drove through there a few times Pretty country.

some of the cheapest land in the nation. you can declare your land semi public preserve or open pasture too and pay close to $5 an acre per year in property tax.

What is the quality vs price vs comparison with these? Out of curiosity, seeming the conversation...

Since retail on that is 400-600 I'd say damn good if what you want is a lever action rifle. Since many quality 30-30 lever action rifles start 600 and go up to about 2500 its not bad. Major plus is the adjustable stock and a forward scope mount. I have always abhorred the side saddle scope mount for lever action rifles. Major negative is its a lever action and its ugly as hairy bollocks.

I dont know about these ammunition but what I know about most glow in the dark things is that they need to be put in light for some time. When taken straight out of a box, they probably arent charged yet. However, the explosion from shooting could provide a super intense light that could charge it back in a short period. True, I think its just about marketing.

it may come or it may not. But its not just zeds that may ruin your life
