SOP: Login Trouble Shooting

1. Purpose

To provide trouble shooting solutions for the Zombie Preparedness Initiative(ZPI) Login problems that may have resulted from the site transfer.

2. Scope

This standard provides guidelines for Login trouble shooting so that may attempt the stages of a login before contacting ZPI staff.

This standard applies to all Zombie Preparedness Initiative staff and members, who have difficulty logging into the site.

3. Procedures

Login Problems - Troubleshoot Guide

Step One

Click the ZPI logo or 'Home' Link and re-enter details into login section.

Step Two

Click the following link and sign in:

Step Three

Clear cookies and cache's. Simply select your browser from the below videos:

Internet Explorer

FireFox

GoogleChrome

Step Four

Flush your DNS for Windows, Linux and Mac users please view video, for all other OS please use link and find the corresponding Operating System:

Step Five

Enter Chat to see if any Staff members are currently on and request help, you will be asked to supply your corresponding email account that matches your profile for proof of identity.

Please ensure you are speaking with a Site Staff by clicking this link.

Also note, if request for you to supply a password, do not give out any password used for any other accounts, just in case you never actually checked to see if the person was site staff or not.

Contact Site Admin at site_admin@zombiepreparedness.org and wait for details.

If no response is supplied within 24 hrs please re-email and check CHAT often for a ZPI staff member.
