ZPI Book Club (Deep Survival by L. G.)

I was wandering through Barnes and Noble, as I am apt to do, and picked up a book about survival, which I am also apt to do, and began reading "Deep Surivival" by Laurence Gonzales. I started reading it, and it seemed so interesting that I decided to get it and by the time I got to the end of the book, I felt so strongly about it (what I thought about it, I won't share with you yet) that I thought it might be good to share the book with someone else, then I thought, why not share it with the entire site. So let's try it.

I want a volunteer who must accept a few things:

  • You will accept the financial burden of sending the book to someone
  • You will replace the book if destroyed
  • You will read the book
  • You will share your thoughts

If you are willing to accept this responsibility, then I will send you the book and hope that someone else is interested in reading it as well and, at least I think, it will be interesting to see how far this book travels.

Is anyone interested?

Wow. Okay. I didn't expect even a fraction of that interest. Here's the details:
If you want to be involved, send me your mailing address where I can send the package to via email: admin@zombieinitiative.org. Once you've done this I will do my best to arrange them into the best path so that the shipping will be minimalized for each individual. Once the book has been sent to you, if you do not send the book you will be banned until the book reaches it's next destination or at least until people forgive you for breaking the chain.
Of course, anyone is free to pick up the book on their own and if they so wish to send the book to someone else, go nuts.
Once you've read the book, write up a review. Don't post it yet, just write it. Likewise, if you've already read the book, save your opinion until after everyone has read it. Once everyone has a chance to read it (or, if the chain gets too long, after we get sick of waiting) we will share our thoughts on the book.
If you're still game, email me.

Sounds like an interesting idea. what's the weight on that thing?

I comply with your request and as I am close in proximity to SOD he will also have the opportunity. Now the fun idea would be to have everyone sign it and eventually it returns to you to keep in memory of the shared experience.

I like the idea of everyone who received and read it sign it. That would be COOL.

I agree, with WD40....

Who currently has it?
