Bunni Plan
Preamble:
In this world it is important to survive. If your survival comes at the cost of others then you need to question what you are worth. I always strive for the greater outcome. Strive to help others, or you are worth less then the clothes on your back.
Now
The Majority of my plan is preparation now. I have been working with some new weapons, tactics and equipment as of late, and have a new group of recruits that I am training. A small and cohesive team does alot to ensure safety, especially when you know someone is watching your back so you don't have to as much.
Education- At this moment I am working with an entirely new team. They are educating themselves in everything from minor medicine to bare bones survival. I will be setting up a system soon in which people with get physical rewards for “Qualifying Achievements” usually some sort of standardized test. Rewards will usually be a piece of significant gear, patch or sticker (no banana stickers they are psychologically addictive). Its a little incentive to want to improve ones self, which in turn improves the group.
Training- Aside from the weekly training of the majority of the group in Judo or Jujutsu, we also have been setting up little events Weds before classes (attendance hasn't been so good, but they all want to make it lol). We will be doing “meet ups” (mini seminars) in everything from knife fighting to canoeing. The hardcore members train daily in things like conditioning, Hand to Hand Combat, Short Arms Combat (melee), Long Arms Combat (Firearms and Archery), Lock sport, even things like photography. One of the best training tools is a book called “Shen Ku” by Zeek. Its a broad spectrum survival guide, that teaches so much its hard not to love it. It has one cheeky twist, its all mind expanding weird cartoons and pseudo joking and serious religious like philosophy.
Equipment- At Apha1 there is a nice sized arsenal and a series of Kits for different purposes. In the “worst case eventuality” All Kits compliment each other and don't necessarily overlap equipment. No one in my group is prepared to the level I am, but they do want to be so they have begun collecting some of the lesser kits. SOD is the only exception, but he's not technically in my survival group though he is welcomed at any time.
Stage0
“Vest” I live in this thing, 6 days a week 9-14 hours a day, when its not on its close. When I'm in my house its on my bed or next to it. When I leave the house its in my trunk. Its my new security blanket. Instant uniform since I'm on call 24-7. I have thrown it on with wet swimming trunks and sandles because I was called into work on an emergency while swimming at the pool. I has a badge, 5 knives, binoculars, mini-first response trauma kit including full sized trauma scissors, handcuffs x2, OC spray, Waterproof digital camera, 4 fake mustaches, 2 flashlights, lighter, cellphone, multitool, emergency blanket, 2 holsters, 2 long arm securing carabiners, removable velcro name and station markers front and back, hydration pack, Energy bar, stab plate inserts, foam inserts as a coast guard approved floatation vest, PR-24 side handle baton, work wallet, and when I carry firearms it holds 3 hand gun mags and 2 rifle mags, soon to come 3-5 shot quick-loaders for shotgun. It also has 9 large utility hoops on the back that can fit anything from molle pouches to 40mm grenade rounds. It is fully adjustable to fit over any outfit I could conceivably put on including puffy winter jackets. I will be adding a pouch for a 12ga flare gun eventually.
“Belt” Is for Firearm carry only. It is a shotgun ammo belt with a single set of handcuffs, shotgun back stabilizer (holds the gun out of your way when in non-active state kinda like a holster), hand gun hip holster containing my Glock22 at all times, 2 handgun mag holster and a short angled 8” kukri. The mossburg is never far from the belt and often occupy the same carrier (except in transport not job related, middle finger freely flaunted at Springfield IL).
Stage1 “Day Pack” Its got basic survival stuff, lighter, knife, utility razor, hatchet, a change of clothes with layering in case of cold weather, hydration pack, rain jacket, skip-a-meal bars, gum and compass. Its great for every day fun. Hiking, adventuring or even tossed in the trunk for the ride to and from work. Some call it a Get Home Kit, I call it a day pack.
Stage2 “Self-contained Survival Suit” Its got everything I need for a long excursion anywhere. It is not prepacked with food or water other than a few skip-a-meal bars, but has the means purify and store water. It also has tools useful for catching small to medium game. It has a full compliment of survival tools like; a tarp, blanket, pancho, fire starting, shovel, axe, knife, Multitool, radios, GPS, compass, maps, 2 fake mustaches and now a swanky PVC long bow. Hard thing is remembering where I put my keys.
Stage3 “5 Day Camping Pack” Its what most would call a Bug Out Bag, but a good balanced well thought out hiking pack is a Bug Out Bag. With this pack there really isn't a number of days I could survive. 5 Days simply means I have the Food pre-packed for 5 days with no alternate source needed. I have shelter and tools for the long haul. There are a few changes of clothes, and a layering system that has variable warmth as needed (100F+ to -10F).
Stage4 “Adventure Go Anywhere Anytime Kit” (its an old name but don't need to change it) Its a Box with lots of stuff. Everything is broken into minikits like; Medical, Arctic , Tropical/Swamp, Dessert, Forrest, Water, Fishing/hunting, Purification, Shelter/sleep. It has lots of stuff. Great for when you really don't know where your going, how long you will be there, or what you might need. Once on location you can pull a corresponding “Kit” for the environment. I often grab just the corresponding Kits when heading out of town instead of packing a bag.
Stage5 “Tac Box” Full of uniforms, weapons, 2 types of helmet, one point slings, ammo carriers, ammo boxes, boots, pads, rigs, utility belts soon a spare vest and ballistic plates. Basically if war, riots or a work situation present themselves it can be tossed in a car and change gear dependent to the situation. Not too useful in a common disaster unless I get hired to do body guarding or security.
The Team- Bunch of random weirdos ranging in age from 15-35. The majority of them either worked with me when I was a bouncer, or go to one of my martial arts classes. They are mystified by the “Scorched Earth” style I employ and all have begun studying the basic mentality, weaponry, legality and tactics. They are all severely interested in survival and disaster preparedness. Currently my group is about 20 large, although we are all quite busy and don't manage to meet up more than once a month and never all at the same time.
Group Mandated Equipment- There is a lot of variety to the type of equipment we carry, but it is mandated that we have 4 essential tools in our equipment. It is completely dependent on the individual as to the type. We will have a few different mandated equipments later, but for now it is:
Axe- They can chop a tree or scrape a skin, but there is no other tool or weapon that can do what the axe is made for. The axe in question must be able to split small tree branches as everyone must be able to make a fire. Even small axes can chop down bigger trees used for shelter building and other things. Everyone must carry their own weight in our group, and being dependent on others for tools is not acceptable.
Blade- Sword, machete or what ever else thats long thin lightweight and sharp. Specifically it was originally a machete, but people want to carry a sword sometimes and as their primary weapon the blade slot is taken. Humans were not built with long fangs or sharp claws. The more reach we have with something sharp and pointy the better. For those that use an axe or knife a primary weapons a tool oriented machete is commonly used. Blades are great for cutting through grasses and light brush, bit not trees and certainly nor used as a digging device. When collecting large amounts of natural grasses for food, fire or just hacking them out of your way nothing beats a blade.
Knife- Its carried at all times. Its the best tool for the majority of situations we find ourselves in. Self defense, eating, cooking, hygiene, craft-work or measurement the uses are endless. The knife is the human answer to the fang and claw dilemma. We evolved without those parts, so we invented one we could carry. Generally we carry 2-5 different knives, but only 1 is mandated.
Shovel- For everything else there is the shovel. You can dig with an axe, knife, blade or your hands, but a shovel is faster and won't be ruined by that action. Shovels can be used to find grubs, dig a fire pit, pull bark from a tree, flint and obsidian napping, wedging under large rocks to move them, burying caches or digging them up. A lot of people underplay the need of shovels, but they really are overlooking sources of food, shelter and usefulness.
Certain individuals in the group want a standard Vest, Belt with Medical, Survival and Bad Weather kits on them, which I have begun constructing. They want everyone using a bow or firearm, Staff, and a standard knife, but some of this stuff is expensive so I don't see it being implemented any time soon. I am all for the Staff, as it can be combined with any of the mandated tools to make them more effective and longer reaching.
Rally Points
Recently Reordered
The set up is more of a personal thing then a group mentality. My cell consisting of only me at the moment(/cry) has 1 Alpha site and every other cell knows its location. 6 individuals have determined I am their Alpha location as well since I am easier to get to then their own home. So they Link me to their cell as the Alpha site. 4 others have provisions and are accessible in the case Alpha1 is compromised.
Alpha- Sites are the primary rally points any local member can get to even on short notice. Alpha sites are meant to be accessed immediately under any threats or disasters. We have 5 Alpha sites locally (the most to least prepared hence I'm Alpha1) If it is an Alpha location it is perfectly reasonable that someone you know or possibly not, might be in your house uninvited at any hour. Thats the risk you take.
(1) Bunni house USA, IL. Its a decent sized one bedroom that can house up to 22 individuals on inflatable mattresses. I have an arsenal to equip a reasonable sized group 5-30 with a wide variety of melee, archery and firearms. I have a minimum of 3 BOBs at one time, and store mini BOBs for anyone in my group that wishes. I currently only have access to CB, and FRS radios, but that works for our minimal needs right now. Again the point is gather equip and plan the next action.
Bravo- Sites are similar to Alpha except they are alot farther from society. They are close enough we can make it on a single tank of gas round trip. They are mostly at others' houses that we don't like visiting because they live to bloody far. I have 10 Bravo sites personally, and could house about 5-20 depending on the sites for short term not to exceed 3 days.
Charley- Extended Meet up points outside the normal travel grid. Family friends and relatives that live outside of any major roadways or cities, that have agreed to let us use their land in case of emergencies as mini close knit fima-like centers. Most of these sights are vacation or seasonal homes for the owners. Charley sights we can use for a couple weeks before anyone would have any major problems with it. I have 4 Charley sites that range from 100 miles from Chicago to 650 miles away.
Delta- Off the Radar zones. They are mostly a collection of Lat and Long numbers in my special book of such things. They can be given out discretely and are known for being generally a pain in the butt to get to, but offer natural security. We have close range cache dumps and long range meet up points already set up. Currently I have logged 45 Delta sites that are numbered by distance to Alpha1.
Echo- Rural and rustic are nice ways to put it. Farms co-oped and owned by families and friends of persons in the group. They are Far from any major city by at least 100 miles from any population over 30,000. I only have 1 Echo site.
Foxtrot- Is basically a place I can personally bum at in times of crisis or leisure. I have quite a few friends that have offered for me to visit anytime with little to no warning. In the case of personal distress I could bounce around to hundreds of different locations for years never staying in one place more than 5 days.
Evacuation Protocol
Generally the idea is wait it out, meet up, then caravan. Traveling is safest in numbers. 2 persons to a vehicle is the best course, because if one vehicle is non operational then room can be made in other vehicles for them. A old timey wagon circle makes a nice barricade and defensive wall when making encampments. It also blocks the overall visibility of the fire or camp, so you draw less attention. If times have somehow become lawless there are RV and Camper retailers all over the designated routes. The protocol is to buy or rent a few cheap pop top campers if the society as a whole isn't doomed. If it is then we will take a full armada and ditch the majority of our vehicles. A highly mobile society in a variable and unknown threat level has a lot of advantages. A perimeter is easier to defend then a camp. Even if the eventual prospect is Echo site, its gonna be a whole lot nicer when everyone has their own place, and not huddled into 1 house. 75 acres of hay field (other 25 are orchards) are a great place for up to 200 campers. No problem, not that there will be that many.
On the Grid
There are primary routes planned out of Chicago on major highways and via local Highways and Routes. If they are congested I and/or the caravan will travel up the shoulder of oncoming traffic out of town on major highways. If the police are dumb enough to stop us they will have to go on a low speed chase all the way to the border, because we will not stop.
Off the Grid
High current power lines always have vehicular access and always pass by major roads when they do not have direct access. This is not an accident. They are a very uncommonly used travel conduit. Travel will be slow either by vehicle or foot, but it will be better than getting stuck in traffic and you might not make it out of town at all. There are also plenty of places to set up camp safely.
The Mustache Code- We are currently designing a code based on smiley faces with mustaches to give information that goblins will never be able to decipher. Also we are making a Fake Mustache warning system. Either worn on one's face or gear tells us about situations we might not be able to communicate in any other way. UK and I spoke in depth about the idea of a mustache code, and it has caught on in my group almost immediately. There will be a formal system in place with in the month.
10 Step Quick Plan for Minor to Catastrophic Events.
Step 1:Get home to Alpha1. If in the event I can not get home proceed immediately to step 3.
Step 2:Pack the car, park it close, have it in sight and protected.
Step 3:Rally the cells. Find out what their status is and call out possibility of evacuation plans preset. Set up a contact schedule, and if it is not met the other groups follow the evacuation plans as necessary. At this time if step1 failed and step 3 was taken use a cell member's house as the base of operations.
Step 4: In the case of major hostilities head for the hills. Rally bases Alpha, Bravo, Charlie , Delta and Echo are set in the event of major contingencies in Missouri, Louisiana, Mid and North Wisconsin. Depending on the climate of the emergency evacuation will commence to the closest one to wait on other cells and gain intel.
Step 5: Long Haul. If we made it to step 5 then I will be living well in a very rural environment at the Echo site, with about 50 friends and family. Hunting, fishing, farming and setting traps every day while instructing courses in Combat and Recon. I will be in charge of the kitchen at meal times as head chef. I will also be the chief moral officer.
Step 6: Micro community in place, fortified and stable. Its time to recon and raid, sending out teams of 3-6 in mini caravans to gather intel, scavenge, and set up forward command posts for the gathering of wanted supplies, and setting up trade routes.
Step 7: Man the forward command posts by uniting survivor groups and creating a trade economy.
Step 8: Make a series Strongholds and get the guild structures running. At this point the Governments haven't come back on line so we will secure large buildings, and fortify them heavily. Essentially making Acropolises. Self contained places of production or learning in the various guilds.
Step 9: New world order. Hopefully the system works and grows. I am leaving out just about every detail, but its fair, beneficial and balanced. More important it would make humanity strive to be something more than it is. No religion is not involved, because religion is a seed of evil in a selfish human soul.
Disaster Contingencies
Natural Disasters are what they are, and no force of man can stop them so far as we know. Being in the midwest united states we are only predispositioned to the following disasters. So I do not have plans for other nearly impossible situations.
Earthquake- Earthquakes are not very common, but there is a long overdue super quake brewing under Chicago. In the event of an earthquake “Get the hell outside.” Chicagoland buildings are not very earthquake resistant. After the initial quake is over if the building is standing, go in and get all Kits and equipment. If the building is not standing, get the shovel and sledge from the car and proceed to dig out all the kits. Aftershocks can be as devastating as the initial earthquakes, so I will set up camp in the parking lot and await the arrival of other member, and or contact family and other Alpha site leaders. During disasters it takes a long time for com traffic clutter to go away so messengers will probably be the option taken for communications between Alpha sites. Depending on the situation the groups will either help dig out others, stay at structurally sound Alpha sites, or proceed to Bravo sites. There is also the option of taking up security on the still member's standing property. Nothing brings out the rats and goblins like disasters. So people with homes still will be watched out for and those without homes have places to stay.
Flood- Precede to Bravo sites asap. Highest priority after your life is keep your vehicles out of harm's way. Anything you can do to keep from loosing your car do it. We flee, meet up carpool back and grab as much of our supplies as we can. Check for damage, secure the structures from goblins and head back to Bravo to set up camp. The more important part is taking precaution early. If there is a chance of major flooding the majority of us will secure our belongings against flood water and rent a Uhaul and car trailer. $30 a day for a week is better then loosing everything.
Tornado- If a tornado hits my house, which is highly improbable then the first action is to check with local Alpha sites to see if anyone else was hit and request help searching for my stuff. All I really care about is the kits and equipment everything else the insurance check can cover later. Once we have helped locate as much of the equipment as we can hop around Alpha sites till more permanent arrangements can be made and the insurance check kicks in.
Fire- If I can save the kits let the rest burn and collect insurance on it all later. If I have 60 seconds in a smoke filled apartment, my mask is easily accessible and I don't really need to see to navigate my house. I could get every kit and BOB to safety in that 60 seconds with out problem. The Panic room is very close to the door. Just like before hop around Alphas till I have a new place.
Blizzard- Start expecting a blizzard and make all accommodations before hand. Blizzards never just happen they brew and give lots of notice. Start by making a “Snow wall” in front of one of your main doors. You can use snow bricks and make an igloo type enclosure or blankets stapled to garden steaks, but you must make a drift trap, so you can break the cold winds that will batter your doors and snow that can trap you inside. Make it large enough to be able to open your door and be able to start the digging out process. Blizzards usually last days, and often knock out power, so its always good to staple comforters and blankets over the inside of doors and windows. It helps keep cold out and heat in. The temperature inside the house can never dip below the ambient temperature of the air outside. Which can get really cold, but its not near as bad as wind chill. For cooking and water, I have a kerosine camp stove and lots of containers to fill with water. The likely hood of it freezing is high, but thats what the stove is for. As a veteran winter camper dealing with cold is just a matter of layers. Even with sleeping you can sleep in -30 comfortably if you prepare for it. Lots of blankets and hot water bottles, pillows and pillow forts. You lol, but pillow forts work in extreme cold. Ride it out hopefully others join you so you can have some much wanted warm cuddling.
Ice Storm- Pretty much the same as blizzards, except severely inhibited transportation and communication. Ice storms are known often to destroy cell towers, radio towers and phone and power lines. 1” of ice is more dangerous and harder to get rid of then 10” of snow. Severe Ice storms are know to crush a roof and shatter windows. The Ice storm is the only natural disaster the vikings feared, because in their time it meant death. We are a lot more lucky now days with housing technologies and food preservation. Ice storms are still bad news, and luckily there have only been 2 in my life in the region bad enough to make concern.
Heatwave- Water + Fan = Air conditioning. Temperatures get high and sometimes its hotter in a building than outside the building. So go out side but stay out of the sun. Wear baggy light clothing that pulls the water away from your skin, because thats how your body cools down. Direct sunlight, dehydration and salt deficiency are the killers, so avoid them at all cost. Water, gatoraid or sports drinks, shade and loose clothes. 1 liter of water at 70F can lower your core temperature .05 degrees. 3 liters of water at 70F can lower your core temperature about .5 degrees. Cold liquids drastically change the effects of external heat. If your power goes out due to heat, then go soak in the bath tub when ever your feeling too warm short of breath or dizzy.
Deepfreeze- They are very rare and very deadly. Best thing to do is stay inside the house. Call off work, because your car will not function for long in -50F or lower. Gaslines, break fluid, antifreeze and even oil begin freezing. The last thing you want to happen is getting stuck out on the highway in -50. Leaving the car unless your in full winter gear can most definitely kill you with in 10 minutes. At -10F your skin freezes from exposure to air in about 15 mins, at -30 it takes about 5 mins, at -50 it takes less than a minute, and at -80 it happens in less than a second. I have seen it happen. A guy removed his goggles to defog the lenses and was completely blind in seconds. His eyes literally froze open. Even well clothed in temperatures below -30 you are risking hypothermia, frostbite and death. So stay in doors climb under blankets, and tell your boss you have explosive diarrhea because going to work can get you killed. Unless your crushed in an avalanche snow does not kill people its the cold.
Man Disasters with out man these disasters could not exist in any capacity that would be detrimental to the entire region. Man made disaster are some of the worst possible, because of the lasting regional effects that can last years or even decades.
Biological Pandemic- Isolate and find information. Few pandemics are spread through treated and chlorinated water, the only one I can think of is Mad Cow. So isolation from others is the first key. Hygiene, rubber gloves, mask and distance for people is all it takes to stop most pandemics. Stay at Alpha and learn as much as possible about it. Flee to Delta or Echo in the event it somehow becomes so contagious it can pass through metal, glass or rubber.
Chemical Contamination- Weapons of mass destruction are not the only huge issue with contaminates. Industrialization has crippled the globe on more than one occasion. Best course of action is put on a full hazmat suit and an enclosed air source respirator or rebreather and flee to a safer area, then scrub and clean your vehicle and suit, and hope you'll be ok. More likely option is an stay home seal your doors and windows with duct tape, seal all intake vents and turn off any heating or air conditioning, and throw on a respirator. If it takes more than that then your probably gonna die and should have fled long ago which would probably have gotten you killed anyways.
Radioactive Fallout- I know where my local shelters are, do you? I suspect that the shelters are not still stocked with resources, but it will be a short stay anyways. Down a few Iodine pills put on a rain suit and wool and hurry out of the fall out pattern after a 3 week wait period as fast as possible. If it is full on nuclear war no one except high ranking government and military will live through it anyways, so slow death or wicked awesome party topped off with an injection of alcohol or air directly into the bloodstream. It works, its not a bad way to go, way better then dying of radiation poisoning.
Food Production Crisis- Due to rape the land farming practices so often used, or massive drought caused by tidal shift in the oceans, either or its gonna be rough. We are looking at the next dust bowl even now with the non-replenishing aquifers and the Gulf deep water current directly effected by water heat and viscosity discrepancies caused by the BP oil spill (I have no words in my vocabulary bad enough to say about oil companies especially BP and Exxon). Food gets expensive fast. Well good thing I am creative on meal making and a good hunter. More dinner parties mean less wasted food. By far look at this one within our life time. The Indian Wheat production, Chinese rice and soy production, American cattle corn and tobacco production and worldwide fishing industry, they are not sustainable. Step one get a yeast colony growing and start fermenting grain. Beer and other similar alcohols used to be used as a quick meal. Beer with active live yeast is a source of protein, complex carbs, and sugars. Next step look into goats and rabbits, and dogs or pigs as well as mini gardens. Dogs and pigs are waste refuse management systems. They will eat and compress any biological matter you give them. They are easy to breed and hold fat in the meat well. Pigs have a much lower metabolism then dogs, so they keep a lot more fat in their muscles.
Societal Disasters are byproducts of human regionalism. A group holds together under a common identity and order. That is until the identity and order is unwanted. Societal disasters are simply a change from one social interface to another.
Ghosting the Radar- Ya I'm not getting into it with you. I've got a lot of plans for both myself and others. Can't share them sorry.
Economic Collapse- I work in a nitch field, where the more displaced national wealth is, the more people are willing to pay for my services. Economic polarization makes the poor very angry and the rich very scared. Since the economic downsizing in America I have gotten 3 raises, one promotion and 300% total hour increase. People are scared, so I have a job. I'm not worried about this one, but in the case of my friends, they have a place to bum when they are in trouble. As of this date I don't know anyone personally who has lost their home due to the Economic down spurt. My car is paid off so it can't be taken away. I have a second vehicle stored that has been paid off at my Echo Location (lol ya I went there). Worst comes to worst I can throw my Kits in the car sell off everything else and live out of my car. I've done it before and I'd rather not have to do it again, but would gladly.
Partial Government Shutdown- Been there done that. Upper level government still functions and gets payed and the military, civil institutions, government subsidized programs and companies are all furloughed or defunded for an undetermined period of time. Unless your a civil worker in the military or unemployed there really isn't much to be scared of. All of the side effect will be long term and you will have time to accommodate. Of course the Media Empire, Politicians and ignorant sound bite driven masses hype the situations to be a lot more then they are, leading to fear and anxiety. Which is good for business.
Full Government Shutdown- Well the Government has no money to pay anyone anything and had to basically say well your on your own for an undisclosed period of time. It could be a federalized government or a local government. In the case of federal governments the upper level programs such as military, foreign affairs, and socialized programs all shut down. Police, fire and medical are all a local government matter. Unless a different country is poised to take over the role of a federal government usually local governments organize into smaller nations. Generally this is the “Fall of the Empire Moment”. Things continue on as they did before, but usually with new flags. So again not worried.
Civil Unrest- The plan in Civil unrest is to stay out of it. If it gets close to me, then take extreme measures to dissuade the mass of persons. My building is in a rather secure location, but if there were rioters in the streets near my building I would be in full gear and would shoot dead anyone coming near the building who did not live there. I would put up a sign, “I am in fear stay away or I think your attacking me.” All thats required in our state to kill another person is fear off imminent attack. I would talk with as many neighbors as possible when things seem to be getting worse and assemble a local militia of sorts to keep people out of our area under threat of immediate death. No point in calling the police, since they will be busy elsewhere. Again the Alpha site is open for anyone who wants to keep their family safe and out of harms way. The likely hood of civil unrest near my house is almost 0, but I could personally secure the entire subsection of the complex with a rifle. I do know there are like minded stay off my lawn types and Zombie types in my complex, we just don't talk lol.
Revolution- Everything is normal under an oppressive regime, but there is a seditious group looking to throw out the afore mentioned governing power. People will want security. I will have a job. Regardless of my allegiance, I will have a job to do and a place to live. Thats all I can or will say lol.
Martial Law- Bad News Bears. Strict curfews, Militarily enforced. All rights under the law are stripped from the citizens. Your own property is no longer considered yours. Post a sign on the door and load up. Any persons wishing to come to Alpha1 know the protocol and the door to approach. They are fully welcomed and appropriately armed.
“Occupied Do Not Enter Under Any Circumstance, Door Will Not Be Answered Under Any Circumstance.”
Foreign Occupation- Head for the Hills (Delta or Echo accordingly). From the remote locations, we will go from mild mannered Highschool students to Terroist Warriors.... Wait wrong movie most of my people are college students. Oh well. I'm not gonna speak french or mandarin, so typical hit and run mass panic and lots of theft from the occupying force. Pretty much any way to tell them “Hey you silly kniggit get off my lawn.” Typical cell structure, constant movement, and double blind information transfer. Even when people leave the fold cause they think I've gone insane, the battle will go on, cause seriously those were my azaleas and they will pay with their lives. No seriously people I am this nuts. I'll do it and give retarded reasons.
Complete Societal Collapse- Can't foreseeably happen without a long series of crippling events, such as war, disease, famine and revolution. We simply have too many people in this world right now to not come together as a society. Much like the mini ice age 2/3 of the world population had to die before total societal collapse. In reality, not much changed it stayed a warring classed plutocracy before through and after the collapse. Don't see it happening at all now days even with mass death and paranoia.
End of Times Disasters are what ever you call extinction level events or making humans an endangered species. From “More Likely” to “Laughable Likeliness”. Most of these are slightly joking plans, as the threat behind them is little more than a joke.
Republican Takeover- They ruin everything they touch the greedy bastards. Um not much to do but work as slave labor, buy things they force me to, grow old and die of old age at 32, while starving to death and the send the bill to my community to pick up the tab.
Attrition- It means we run out of resources and poison the biosphere so that it can no longer survive. Its very real, and it is accelerating. It won't happen in my life time, but if it did I could count on a steady diet of cockroaches, rats, crows and gulls.
Asteroid Fail- Well aside from some mass fall out shelter not much one could do. Stage1 put on fake mustache, Step2 Find Alchohol, Step3 party and enjoy the show.
Evolve a thon- Homo Sapians get competition. It's happened before with our previous ancestors, no reason to to believe it can't again. Much like Homo Erectus I would fight tooth and nail with my companions to eradicate the competition before they eliminate us. Rarely was it found a new evolution peacefully coexisted with it's counterpart. I read more then I ever care to about Human evolution on that Axe article. New evolutions always bring better technology to the game.
Zombiepocolypse- Stay inside the house an limit yourself as a target. If in some event they have super detection skills, which is an asinine thought, then moving to a Charley of Echo site is the best option. In the primary phase of infection proper biological threat protocol is enforced. After the initial infection, if packs of undead are still roaming then its time to get combative and escape to a secluded region, make an acropolis, mount a defense and seek information.
Greymageddon- Alien take enslavement and or human pest control. I guess I put on a cowboy hat and get to work. If aliens start openly mass abducting human, I really don't see it ending well for humanity. I'll take lessons from the rat and cockroach and burrow somewhere secluded and hope they don't have ground penetrating radar. If they do then what ever ill make a dead man's switch and blow myself them and everything in the radius of a us to puddles of biological goo.
Skynetdoom- Since resurrecting Nicoli Tesla isn't an options Build some massive Jacob's ladders to buy some time with the residual EMP. Then try to find a way to kill them. Don't really have much of a plan, I don't see it happening.
Divine Finger- Ragnarok, Rapture, Armageddon or what ever you call it. If there is a god and it chooses you to live, then you do if not you don't. Not much of a plan, but if it happens then resort to Plan1- I just found out religions and gods aren't a feeble construct by humans to rationalize life death and the hereafter, so find a real religion then use basic survival skills to spread the world. Lols.
Assimilation Complete- GrayGoo theory. We all massively assimilate to another state of existence leaving nothing but a puddle behind. Hmmm. Not buying it. If it happens, I'll still be there saying dude I'm not buying it. Once assimilated into the mass collective energies and consciousness I will annoy you all for eternity saying, “This is not happening, we are all perfectly fine, the island is most definitely not sinking, Lets sing a song, SING SONG SING SONG SING SONG!” or “Troll lol lololololololol lolololol lolol lol.” You get the idea. I don't buy it either.
Planet X- Seriously Scientology is f'ed in the head. Whats wrong with you people. Even if Xenu did exist how old is he? 500 billion years old? If hes been around that long and is still mad at humans (who haven't been around that long) then that b*tch needs to grow up. I will kill myself. If Tom Cruise is right I don't wanna live anymore.

Bunni, I like your set up for the initial reactions of circumstances
Going into dystopia however... How do you plan to survive long term in the worst case scenarios? In your Charlie to echo plans is there enough food an water supply? Are you going to grow crops somehow in these discluded areas?
What are the skills of your team and where are you lacking and need to improve as a team? Are there tools, weapons, equipment, machinery that still needs to acquired?
I would really like to see what you('s) plan to do once it all "settles" in an apoc/dystopia situation...

DUMB WORKERS
Echo is a farm/orchard next to a very large body of water. I doesn't have a stockpile, as no one really lives there and it would invite the local bear and coon population. Hunting there is an easy task and so is food gathering year round. The area is known specifically for winter salmon fishing. There is planting and sowing equipment and seeds for the sustenance farming in the front yard, and hay in the main field to support livestock. The apple orchard has a very high yield if and when its harvested. A portion of the Hay field is already partitioned as a wheat field if and when re decide to change it over. Hay enriches the soil and makes for a better crop down the road. The house is run off well and has a holding tank/evaporation tank for sewage. Refuse and bio waste (poop) go into a high yield compost system. We use the bucket and sawdust method of outhouse. As far as fortifications, there is a yard fence and thats about it. With dogs and constant patrols threats can be neutralized easily. I simply can't bring myself to believe that a horde of undead a thousand strong is going to track you over 100 miles to a geographically isolated region. Even if they did, there is a famous group of islands not more than 40 mins by canoe or kayak. There is a huge harbor near by, and one of the neighboring town's only 3 industries are Casino, restaurants, boat wet/dry dock yard.
