I've noticed a pretty big uprising of this lately: many people have atrocious language skills on this site. Is it really that hard to properly format a simple sentence? Putting a period in there and making your sentence make sense goes a long way towards allowing readers to understand your post, and taking it seriously. If you think you have a good idea, articulate it so readers don't have to take three times as long to read it.

There is not reason for this post other than to say that after a brief pause I'm back, adding a little more irritation to your day. Look on the bright side. After dealing with me for thirty seconds everyone else you encounter for the next 24 hours is going to be a spring breeze to deal with.

Did a quick search on this and I didn't see anything on this, but I'm not Sleepy and I don't have the whole website memorized. If there is already a topic about this, please merge it.

So, the general idea of this thread is to post what you last bought that relates to survival, etcetera, or is just something you thought was really cool.
So, for me, it's the CRKT Minimalist Wharcliffe.

Going to be a great EDC slicer, looking forwards to it, will post a review when I get it.
EDIT:
Should also say that I blame Leo in the entirety for my purchase.

So my lady friend is a writer and is looking to get her works published. I know of a few published authors here on the site, (looking at you kirk) and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help her get contacts and or talk to her about the challenges she faces with getting her books published. any help would be great!!! comment or P.M. me for contact info.

Ok, so I've been working on a small survival kit to augment my regular gear. I got an Altoids mint tin to carry every thing around in as it should fit my pocket well. The downside is that it's not waterproof.

So contained within is:
two ziplock plastic bags
one birthday candle
one butane lighter
two Snell fishhooks
one patch of steel wool
one army can opener

So I've been doing a lot of research on the preservation and preparation of grains. If storing small amounts it looks like canning jars will work, but large food storage grade 5 gallon buckets sound like the best choice for large volumes of grain and beans. These grains can be obtained at co-ops and health food stores and when stored properly in dark, cool, and dry locations can keep for long periods of time. If i understand correctly, they can keep for periods for up to five years.

Just wondering what are people going to do once the zombies are over and done with. (i know this may take hundreds of years but talking hypothetically).
How will you shape the world?
Will you join into a 'tribe'
Or create your own?
Will we see the Kingdom of Chilbert? or the Dominion of TheBox?
Just throwing the idea out there.
