There is not reason for this post other than to say that after a brief pause I'm back, adding a little more irritation to your day. Look on the bright side. After dealing with me for thirty seconds everyone else you encounter for the next 24 hours is going to be a spring breeze to deal with.

So, the general idea of this thread is to post what you last bought that relates to survival, etcetera, or is just something you thought was really cool.

So, for me, it's the CRKT Minimalist Wharcliffe.

Going to be a great EDC slicer, looking forwards to it, will post a review when I get it.

So my lady friend is a writer and is looking to get her works published. I know of a few published authors here on the site, (looking at you kirk) and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help her get contacts and or talk to her about the challenges she faces with getting her books published. any help would be great!!! comment or P.M. me for contact info.

So I've been doing a lot of research on the preservation and preparation of grains. If storing small amounts it looks like canning jars will work, but large food storage grade 5 gallon buckets sound like the best choice for large volumes of grain and beans. These grains can be obtained at co-ops and health food stores and when stored properly in dark, cool, and dry locations can keep for long periods of time. If i understand correctly, they can keep for periods for up to five years.
